This reminds me of when a coworker wrote a protocol around sending encrypted messages back and forth inside of gchat to control another PC.
The reason was that: our company firewall doesn’t let stuff go in directly, but we have internet.
I thought that was a nutty tos violation.

Unless your lists are 1000s of items long, just use text files in a folder.

Recommend cloudflare for DNS. I use it for DDNS via API and it works great.
You also basically pay the wholesale rate without markup for the domain.

Gosh I took the railroad from Long Island, NY into NYC and back. Each way was about 40 min but the total cost was like $19 per person! If I was going with 3/4 friends, it could literally be cheaper and about as fast to drive into the city and pay for parking. It needs to be more subsidized.
Remember how Google’s Find My Network was supposed to be as good or better than Apple’s. We put a tracker in a checked bag. Couldn’t track it from once we lost sight till when it was 10 feet from me.

This isn’t really accurate for either side. For Linux, I’ve had crap shove configs in ~, /etc, /var, at least.
On Windows, it could be literally anywhere or in the registry.
