I have no specific data. But I consider polling in the background to be abuse, especially for a free service hosted by volunteers. Once lemmy implements actual push (which is scheduled soon!) I will implement.

Edit as a temporary workaround, don’t drag the video slider from the leftmost edge (you can drag anywhere on the slider)

I don’t think this is possible. To block you need to provide lemmy the instance ID.

Voyager can handle SVGs. The image you linked for the SVG is invalid. When I try to load it in a browser, it says there is a server error.

I just checked Android 14 with PWA and it is working as expected. If I tap a photo the post is marked as read.

It is working for me. Can you provide more information, such as device info and the specific post and double check your hiding settings just in case.
