I mean, considering how some of them can struggle with ice cubes, you’d need one hell of a (consumer grade) blender to effectively get rid of a body

At the end of the day they’re just glyphs though. Maybe letters in a clockwise alphabetical order is the most intuitive for someone who has never used a controller before, but I’ve never seen anyone complain about the PS buttons layout after the initial “where the fuck is triangle” phase… except for that Japanese standard where X is “cancel” and O is “confirm”… because they deviate from what we are used to (and actually mimick the Nintendo layout regarding A and B placement, interestingly enough)
It’s only wrong because the Xbox controller is more ubiquitous than Nintendo’s controllers and thus became the new standard. As someone who also grew up on Nintendo consoles, I remember it took me a while to adapt to it, but since I shifted towards PC gaming it became my new standard too
So-called risks taking executives/business people when they could take a risk to benefit their employees without hurting their bottom line (and possibly even increasing it):
legally mandated one day off
As a french : what the fuck, Japan ?
Wait there’s a free and easy GitHub script ? I bought an OEM key for 2 bucks like a sucker
What, are they involved in a war with Russia or something ?
Unfortunately the Académie Française is mostly full of crusty old men who think they can dictate how the french language evolves, so we rarely care about what they have to say
North Korea is so starved that their cameras remove 10 pounds
It was definitely not sourced so I’m doubtful too. But who would lie on the Internet ? ^/s
I read somewhere he only had iron sights
Walking sims/narrative games. I’m a sucker for gameplay, so games with non-complex gameplay bore the hell out of me
A pretty stupid and/or egotistical person, which is not illegal. I have literally met people who think like that. Also that’s arguably the most dangerous part of drunk driving: impaired judgement makes you think you’ve got everything under control, and you’re not that drunk anyway, and you’re a good driver… Combine that with someone whose brain isn’t exactly firing up on all cylinders when they’re sober and you’ve got a deadly cocktail, and also probably someone who is more likely to get too drunk to legally drive (and not give up on driving home after that line is crossed)
I’m not saying that 17 years behind bars is too much here, I’m saying it’s definitely not too little. Unless it can be proven that this idiot actually thought he was likely to get in an accident by acting the way he did
That’s the hivemind for you. Personally I don’t think you deserve downvotes for these comments and I don’t think you are a Russian shill. I replied to you because I understand where you’re coming from, and I was trying to get you to see things the way I see them : I actually held the same opinion when Russia annexed Crimea by force in 2014 even though people were already screaming that it was basically Hitler’s playbook. But the fact that Putin didn’t take that easy, huge W when basically the entire world went for appeasement, and instead decided to keep escalating convinced me that he is actually literally applying Hitler’s playbook (and backing it with mutually assured destruction, of all things).
Some people are just that irresponsible. Also the human brain is notoriously bad at risk assessment, so some people truly don’t realize how likely they are to cause suffering and death when they do shit like this. Harsh punishments won’t change that because this guy probably didn’t think he was gonna accidentally murder 2 people that night
You may want to look up the Sudeten crisis/Munich agreement and how effective it was at preventing war.
I think it’s Net, [no idea for this one], Yahoo
It’s not uncommon to see people expressing disdain for other distros. I feel like it’s tongue in cheek 99% of the time though
