Like space-time is so mind boggling that the idea of aliens is most likely just us from a time before but we will never know because by the time they (we) return, we’re already gone. Some sort of paradoxical loop

Going off the ancient alien theory, if real, my belief is that we haven’t been visited again because they haven’t made it home yet to tell anyone about us 😂

But on our planet we find life everywhere with even the most harshest of climates still teeming with life. I’d say we will (if we haven’t already) found alien life in microbial organism form.

Yes it works but I will say that any “diet” works in that the individual is conscientiously making good changes to their diet, exercise, or both.

The other thing to note is that, even if you fast for 16hrs, if you go and binge eat crap and still exceed a caloric intake, you won’t really see results.

One of the great things with fasting is it gives you time to reflect on what you’re going to eat and hopefully takes away time so you don’t end up snacking all your gains (losses) away.

See at least you have a seemingly potential reason. Also, I think if that’s what the cause is, you might have luck with taking prebiotics and probiotics to help garner it back.

I’ve been trying various things from yogurt, sauerkraut, kimchi and supplements and I haven’t really had success. I must be doing something wrong or too much or not enough idk.

Exactly! I don’t know any of that stuff and so I wouldn’t be trying to use Ai to build an app to sell to people.

I’d rather spend my time learning first which is kind of how I ended up here actually. Trying to take back my self and learning current skills and internet literacy.

I definitely will play around a bit to try to build something because I have so app ideas myself but I’ll solicit help from a professional before Ai.

I’m sure it can, but the key is learning first before just cut and pasting stuff. I’m new to a lot of stuff and more interested in learning about media stacks, NAS, self hosting and that sort of thing than Ai coding but maybe there’s a use case I’m not aware of yet.

Oh thank you, that makes sense. I definitely understand why is popping up so much with the raise of Ai and a lot of people pushing you to use it.

I just an post on twitter about a guy trying to put out an announcement about how “its coming for your job” type thing and saying how he has built several full functioning apps with Ai and they’re all performing flawlessly and shit. Then it was promoting you to buy subscriptions to the Ai stuff and I felt like it was a bit of a veiled ad and interesting marketing push.

What does vibe coding mean? Is it the opposite of hard coding where you don’t put any thought into or something like that?

I’m so happy to see a few alternatives popping up already and I hope to see them fleshed out well.

As someone who’s pretty new to things like FOSS, self hosting, etc. I am hopeful that there will be a release that’s more “idiot proof”.

I have a few friends who aren’t going to spend time trying to learn all the small things needed to set up stuff. Hopefully I’ll be able to set up something and just invite them and they just have to make an account in an app type thing to use. Lol
