Possibly unpopular opinion, but the black deck basically ruins this game. I was obsessed before black deck, and to be sure continued playing for a while afterwards. But the black deck was so miserable that I realized it wasn’t even fun. It made me feel like if I had any self respect I’d call LocalThunk’s bluff and quit playing. But I didn’t. Loss after loss I continued to debase myself and continue grinding, waiting for essentially pure luck to release me and allow me to have fun again. But I never regained my enthusiasm.

The estimate I saw was a vote in December. But I that doesn’t factor for almost certain shenanigans and tomfoolery.

In my experience, most people for some reason. Honestly I usually get push back on this, I’m not used to people agreeing with me. There’s usually at least one person for example that tries to claim it’s safer for the knife since if it falls the tip is more protected when up.

This verges on actually mattering, but knives on magnetic strips should be blade down.

Pros:

• when grabbing the knife you are holding it in the safest way possible automatically with the blade pointed down rather than blade up like fucking Chucky.

• If you botch grabbing it, it falls away from your hand/arm rather than toward/on top of it.

• the handles hook over the strip and are more secure

• the handles are all on the same plane, and again if you dislodge a separate knife unexpectedly it falls away from your hand/arm

Green are quite tasty in paella though.

My conspiracy theory, and I’m uneducated in these matters, is that they’ve done something with that emergency fund. Since the money isn’t there anymore they’re caught between admitting they misapropriated/stole it or starving people.

This for me is the weird cishet paradox. So afraid to look “weak”, that they obsess over not looking weak. But you know what looks super weak? Being insecure about being weak. Like, the more you have to prove you’re a big tough guy, the less big and tough you seem.

Also, I feel like they’ve never considered that gay doesn’t necessarily mean effeminate. Or even that effeminate doesn’t necessarily mean weak/meek.

Seems dumb? Not all sunscreen is created equal for starters. There must be thousands of different kinds. I’m sure that at least some have some weirdo chemical that’s a problem with sustained exposure. But even in those cases it’s probably better odds than the risk the sun poses. Like bullets may cause cancer too, but if you get shot it’s probably not the primary concern.
