  • It’s so frustrating to watch this regime try to kill the messenger. They are objectively wrong about so much. And get mad at the people who “point it out”. And so attempt to muzzle people who are factually correct. Which even if successful, is just going to mean they know less and less, and are increasingly wrong. Which will make them even madder, and muzzle more. Which will make them wrong even more. And so on. It’s the stupidest feedback loop.

It’s like they can’t drive, and rather than practice and learn, and actually become better drivers, they’re trying to change the roads themselves to accommodate their shortcomings. But they’re still going to be bad at driving no matter how much they change the roads. Meanwhile the roads are getting harder to use for everyone else. It’s only a matter of time until something really important catches fire and emergency services can’t put it out because the roads are all too fucked up.

  • My personal, unscientific read on the CHE situation is that it’s mote likely a collection of common responses to anxiety/panic caused by being too high. I have no first hand experience though. But I can tell you that tye advent of things such as the Astropink Alien Brain, coming in at 500mg of thc in a single gummy, supports that we’re in unprecedented times potency and ease of use wise. That’s roughly equivalent to the THC of an entire eighth of flower in one go. I can easily see people biting off more than they can chew, so to speak.

The insidious thing about the small dick energy is that it isn’t about the efficacy of the unit. They don’t care that they “can’t” provide pleasure (which, let’s just not dig into that for arguments sake, but I would contend the existence of lesbian sex sort of contradicts the whole correlation of dick mass to pleasure output, let alone the whole can of worms that is all the other miriad of genital and gender configurations). They view sex as transactional, performative, superficial, and perhaps even competative. It’s all about them. Even if they had a supreme dick, they couldn’t weild it. They’re stunted, and frightened. They don’t understand even basic communication, which I would argue that sex is at it’s core, just a type of communication. That kid in class that mocks the topic because they don’t understand it and that frightens them? So they try to tear it down and belittle the topic? Those are the kids that grow up to drive these trucks, and evidently run nations.

  • The perspective I subscribe to is that access and abundance has outpaced the average persons ability to choose. By which I mean, their talent at choosing. An overall inability to make quality decisions. I would say the issue really grew some teeth in maybe the 50’s and has been accelerating more or less exponentially. The art of exploiting this inability to choose first starts getting real traction in the evolution advertising. Getting people to buy cans of beans and cigarettes was the larval form of a much more sinister science of mass manipulation. The internet definitely threw gasoline on the fire. And now no one knows what is quality, or true, or nutritious, or sustainable, or important. The average person is completely overwhelmed and operating on a low-level fight-or-flight type reasoning. Unfortunately I don’t think there is a short term solution. People need to start learning at a very young age explicitly how to not be a mark. Which is antithetical to the wealthy and politically connected people whose bread and butter is hoards of unscrupulous consumers of products and rhetoric.
