I agree with you, but only if everyone is paid a living wage, aka universal basic income.
Gay scalie game dev!

It’s because the comic strip’s style and history didn’t fit the story being told. If anything, it was a massive tonal shift compared to previous comic strips in the whole webcomic.
The author was used to the 4-panel comic layout, which was great for comedic setups and punchlines, and didn’t know to switch to something more appropriate for such a somber subject in Loss. That’s why Loss feels lifeless, rather than sad.
There are so many great ways to add tension and emotion in comic form through panel layouts, compositions, style, and shading; if Loss had employed any of those to convey a compelling emotional story, it would not have been so badly received, even if posted in the same webcomic series.
play an MMO game. plenty of ways to break into friend groups there.
just learn at your own pace and don’t burn yourself out. if you’re enjoying what you do, you’re good to go. if you have an off day where you’re just not feeling it, then take a day off from it.
any fucking thing with touchscreens or touch buttons. those stupid things barely ever work and imagine not being able to use your appliance once that shit breaks.
based take
English, Cantonese, Mandarin, German, Japanese
I’m native at the first two, fluent in Mandarin, currently learning German, and Japanese I learned by watching Puyo Puyo gameplay.
you’re mixing up sex and gender.
sex is the genitals you are born with.
gender is a societal role, stuff like “males are supposed to be strong and emotionally distant” and “females are supposed to be beautiful and submissive to males”.
one does not necessarily have to lead into the other equivalent. why can’t men wear dresses and makeup? what makes something “boyish” or “girly”? why does a “male” or “female” label define what a person can and cannot do for the rest of their life? do they not get a say in what they want to be defined as?
the only, only useful thing about biological sex labels is for medical and sexual purposes, and yet we base almost everything else in life and society around it. that’s just an inefficient use of space on an ID card.
i didn’t learn art from tutorials; it’s mainly some passion, some practice, and then going to art school where i learned new techniques, then stopping and finding my true passion in game programming.
anyway, a couple of tips:
so you’re saying that big bara men powerfucking each other is the gayest thing in existence?
i’m down.
not everyone lives somewhere where it is socially acceptable to be LGBTQ.
i feel like this YT short might help explain it.
blueprint work in unreal engine.
i simultaneously love making a big fuckin mess of the nodes like it’s a wall of modular synths and cleaning it up into neat blocks.
bro that is manly as fuck. keep doing you because it’s hella manly to be gentle and caring and nurturing.
you need to stop worrying about all that “not alpha/sigma male = not attractive” self-doubt. you also need to stop worrying about your attractiveness. you’re already attractive to some people. just find people you really enjoy hanging out with one on one, and eventually you’ll land a partner.
Veering slightly off topic, but does anybody know if there’s an alarm clock app that rings at set earlier times to the final alarm?
For example, I want to wake up at 8:00am, and so I set one single alarm for 8:00am, along with “earlier times” of 30 minutes, 15 minutes, and 5 minutes. The alarm will then ring at 7:30am, 7:45am, 7:55am, then 8:00am.
I’m basically sick of having 4 alarms for every separate thing I have to wake up for.
for your bedtime browsing, you might be able to solve your problem with some form of gooseneck phone mount.
right now, i can’t think of anything other than the BFB hit in Splitgate.
it’s either that, or attributing anything related to social welfare to communism or at least a slippery slope to communism.
i’d like to hear your take on “communism is idiocy”.
I’ve had a cube for quite a few years now for casual fidgeting. My current best time is just under 50s using this official Rubik’s Cube guide (plus a few personal optimizations).
I’ve tried my hand at proper speedcubing algorithms, but they’re just a bit too complex for me to handle, and I’m perfectly happy where I am at with my cube.
Anyways, be proud of your son, and don’t kick yourself for not knowing how to solve it. At this point it’s a memorization game, and if that’s not your cup of tea, that’s fine!
