Is it just me or is that more of a hinderance?
I tried it and was underwhelmed, but also overwhelmed.
I love the idea of choosing everything I want, but Arch also meant the pain of learning to install everything I actually need first.
Is there a minimalistic distro that installs all just the essentials (drivers, services like DHCP, a package manager, desktop GUI), and then I choose from there?
I started moving from Firefox to LibreWolf and found a few too many convenient features broke.
I think password and bookmark syncing was too difficult to move away from, as I use them across devices/phone.
Haven’t had time to research alternative methods or practices.

I keep thinking this during my daily commute along a 3 lane freeway. If a bus/truck overtakes another bus/truck (often), it basically becomes a single lane freeway. And during peak, that little manoeuvre is going to cost you and hundreds of cars behind you, probably for a long time.
So what makes me… me?

What’s the best way for me to stream to a Samsung (Q70T) TV these days? I use a Plex server, and their Plex TV app (which is hit & miss quite often), but at least it has a nice GUI.
If watching directly from laptop I have Kodi, but have also installed Jellyfin for testing recently.
No expectations, no disappointments.
DVD/Blu-ray sitting on my shelf; quicker to download & start watching, than it is to get up, find the disc, pop it in the machine, skip the disclaimers, ads, trailers, menus, etc.
Found money in Vietnam once, and was forever looking at every piece of trash on the sides of roads thereafter.
