It is doable, but it is a pain if the docker requires any special config like permanent storage. Getting nginx up and running for mTLS was especially annoying
Truenas Scale works well as long as you don’t want any dockers on it. Once you want to run docker images it is easier to install a VM on Truenas and run the docker from there than it is to try to set up custom “Apps”
Used to have a OnePlus Nord. Broke the screen 3 years after the phone released and there were no replacement parts anywhere, besides a single AliExpress seller. It didn’t make things better that they released multiple versions of the same model, most, if not all, had incompatible screens.
The screen protectors for both Nord and 8T were out of stock less than a year after the phones were released, never to be seen again.
The /e/OS version of Fairphone 6 is still almost 50% cheaper, while providing slightly higher IP rating, 3 years longer warranty, schematics for board repair and a guarantee of 8 years of software updates. In addition to that, the phone is built ethically.
Murena phone has a faster GPU (2x) and up to 36% faster CPU, but only 2 years of warranty and 5 years of spare parts. Fairphone still has spare displays on sale for Fairphone 2, which came out a decade ago.
