I just watched the 30 minute YouTube video about this from the Scientist Professor that lead off figuring this out. Very interesting. Looks like Russia (among other countries) can choose to jam gps whenever they want.

They’ve been a bit more spotty on a couple engines and transmissions, but dollar for dollar they’re still averaging above US on reliability most of the time. Pretty much every car company has had a few complete disasters over the past decade.

Think about it. Right now, windows is a fucking hog of an OS. It takes up huge space, gas huge overhead, and needs huge amounts of ram. Ram and storage are expensive as hell right now.

Linux can run well on a laptop on decade old tech (One of my old laptops is literally from 2016 and runs Linux mint butter smooth).

So by promoting Linux, HP can sell a laptop with less ram and less storage, that doesn’t run like shit. Saves them loads of money. They may not give a flying fuck about Linux. This still helps their bottom line.

You know, it’s funny, because oil has shot way over 100 a barrel before, but fuel prices were never nearly this high. It’s almost like corpos are taking advantage of the situation to steal more money.

Doesn’t this mean it’s all completely stealable, because things ai make can’t be copyrighted or anything?

I’m in the US. Not once have I seen or even heard of this happening before.
