How do you do, fellow kids? You gettin’ indoctrinated on the world wide web? Radical!

Rated the #1 pizza in Onoway!
An Iconic Burger Chain founded in Edmonton, Alberta…is one claim among many!
When you’re done shitposting, cram a glorious burger down your gob in the most run down shit hole you can find.
If it’s last renovated in the 70’s and you wonder if it’s a front for the mob, you’re in a proper Burger Baron!

Consider the food bank too probably.
Bulk dry beans, bulk sack rice, canned beans for chilli when feeling lazy or on sale, meat only on steep discount usually making stew or chilli with the worse less/undesirable cuts. Stir fry when you find better ones. Frozen vegetables and fruit bags. Store brand usually. Basic frozen pizzas, pasta bags with tomato based pasta sauce. Pasta sauce cans are frequently on sale and baseline is a low price.
Bananas, kiwis, and mandarin oranges are usually cheap in Canada anyways for fresh fruit.
I have a meat grinder attachment on my used mixer, very useful.
You can do a lot with apps like Paprika or Supercook. You add stuff you already have and it spits out only recipes with what you have on hand already. Helps me use up what I buy efficiently and stops you from getting bored of eating the same stuff. Less food waste and flavour bordeom is always good for mood and wallet.
If you have space, gardening. Fruit trees alone fill a deep freezer eventually.
Lots of old people still offload hardwood furniture on kijiji (local buy&sell) or ReStore (2nd hand warehouse here) here it’s not expensive to aquire if you happen to like orange and brown furniture. Or can stand to put some time in refinishing stuff or even repairing the more worn pieces that sell for even less.
Do people still buy it? Damn. Only old people did when I worked deli, and that’s long enough ago that they’re all dead.
As a kid I could only notice what I now know to be floaters on a bright sunny beach and thought they were little bacteria or something floating on the surface of my eyes. Never jumped to ghost!
I seem to write better when I’m passionate about something. What gets me is none of it looks* off/shitty visually. Like the coleslaw looks appealing until you eat a mouth full and wish to die from your utter disappointment. If the Demiurge is real, one of his angels runs their kitchen just to fuck with people.
Great general use nerd forum to this day yep. Probably most of us have grey hair.
There’s a local grocery store chain here that has the most bland tasting everything in their prepared food counter. You’ve never eaten such tasteless food in your life. Poor seasoning? Try none at all. Everything tastes like cardboard.
Want to simulate what it’s like to eat food as a 30 year long habitual chain smoker, shop at Freson Bros.
Kellogg would cum his pants on the spot discovering such blandness could exist.
Their potato salad gave me depression. I didn’t know you could make a calzone taste like the box it came in.
Sweet! Thanks for that.
He’s one of the best comedians alive if you like cynical humor, dark humor, and disgust humor.
I think a majority would find him too offensive to watch and I love him for that.
idk but the Christianity…Abrahamic faith* missionaries in general don’t help.
Canada will follow the leader. It’s in motion here too.
My go to is anything with Ammonium Lactate in it. 12% minimum.
Major is the brand I use currently. A 14 ounce bottle is around 13 dollars. A lot of others jacked up price during covid.
I’ll just quote the important bit of the sales pitch: “ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: This skin smoothing lotion is specially formulated with 12% lactic acid and neutralized with ammonium hydroxide for a pH of 4.5 to 5.5. Lactic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid and a natural humectant for the skin.”
There’s good qualities to this brand and similar from my own experience with this active ingredient. And some bad.
Good:
1: I have Ichthyosis vulgaris kinda like eczema but much less severe with a shitty name. This stuff melts dander flakes and keeps more from being visible all day long until I shower or sleep. God send for me to keep up appearances.
2: The lactic acid creams are day long hydrating, but lets your skin breathe still. Not a big moisture barrier. Won’t feel uncomfortable wearing it even slathered head to toe. Can cover face.
Bad:
1: The active ingredient increases skin UV absorption. Be mindful of that, you can burn more easily without sun screen.
2: Weak acid, so there’s a burning feeling applying it. I’m used to this and don’t feel the burn anymore unless it gets in my eyes or a wound.
An alternative is another I could recommend for dry skin havers: An extreme moisture capturer Dry Patch Body Butter by Dr Ebre. Do as the name implies, little problem spots. This stuff is intense. If you cover your whole face your sweat will get stuck to you and won’t evaporate at all. Don’t do that. 21 dollars for 8 ounce yes, but it clearly works. Lasts forever since you’ll learn quickly to be conservative with its application.
Thanks devs for making piefed first of all I love the alternative.
I really disliked these two options being enabled by default without informing me at the very least. I ended up subscribed to a bunch of stuff I didn’t want to be subscribed to before I figured out what caused it initially when I first signed up.
Honesty I don’t know why anyone would want that as default behaviour?
I’d like to sort communities by Top X amount of time, IIRC that was already in the works.
Native image upload support so I don’t need an app / uploading to imgbb manually sucks on a phone.
Edit: if it’s cost prohibitive to store media uploads even with file size limits I’d like more external options for image hosts than for example Summit app who only offers imgur as an alternative. Or let users enter a custom image hoster url or something.
I think with file size limits it’s not really so bad for cost. Lemmynsfw proves that.
Well in case this is a self blame/guilt response: How most people say they’ll react is almost never true in reality when put to the test, so just keep that in mind with some of the potential replies to this.
It’s interesting to think about however. If the shop keeper is a perfect stranger to me I’m leaving ASAP like you no hesitation sorry buddy. The guy I talk to every morning at the 7/11 by my house? I’m not sure, depends on the details in the moment.
Fedora has 2nd best repos compared to Arch/AUR in my opinion, but because Fedora is actually stable I use it instead to avoid headaches. As much as I miss pacman, Fedora just works. Flatpaks and Appimages fill in the blind spots.
What Desktop Environment or Window Manager to use is your call. I spend most time in my livimg room vs at my actual desktop so I like GNOME it’s couch friendly. Desktop I’m KDE. Boring I guess but I’m too lazy to fuck with ricing.
Or Fennec. It’s just Firefox with proprietary bits and telemetry removed I won’t overhype it lol
“Sasa Sanctuary is a location in Ōkami. Owned by the Sparrow Clan and led by Jamba, it is an elaborate resort with hot springs meant for those who are pure of heart.”
This one has been awesome so far, I’m going to read ahead.
I like the cleaner crew, dire world design, the attempt at smiling, and the plunger. Fucking hilarious.
