Apathy@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•How much of this conversation is just hallucination?3·5 months agoWords are a sequence of sounds, that’s why we learn those sequences from a young age because it is easier to adapt to these new sounds and take key elements to try and create a relational? Dataset / database. That’s one of the beauty of different languages in life.
Because you are conveying this “illusionary” convo in the stated database that is familiar to some, we are able to convey those same sounds back to you to form a conversation.
To an individual who has not learnt the “English” language all our
words sounds
gibberish.This is my opinion

Apathy@lemmy.worldto Europe@feddit.org•Germany: Nationwide protests against cooperation with far-right AfD partyEnglish161·5 months agoIt’s wonderful to see all the protest but I do hope the people come out to vote when it is time cause that is what will really matter
Apathy@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•If money was not an issue, is there a movie, series, or a video game you would fund as a passion project with no intention on making a profit on it?2·6 months agoWorld of cultivation, I’d fund a donghua for that book so fast
Apathy@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•If there is no heaven or after life, what is the point of living?3·6 months agoTo explore and understand the significance of your existence because from my understanding ( ignorant ) we don’t really have an answer to our origin but rather an idea. History which is knowledge passed down, is always written from the perspective of the “winner” and rarely the losers.
Apathy@lemmy.worldto Fediverse@lemmy.world•Pixelfed just overtook Lemmy as the 4th most used Fediverse software.English2·6 months agoYes, https://blog.elenarossini.com/the-future-of-social-is-here-a-show-and-tell-part-4-lemmy-piefed-mbin/
Go down to the section where it discusses interoperability, came across this as I was trying to understand and learn which software I should use for my own server/instance

Apathy@lemmy.worldto Fediverse@lemmy.world•Pixelfed just overtook Lemmy as the 4th most used Fediverse software.English3·6 months agoThat’s the neat part! Lemmy.world doesn’t allow that😂😂😂. Best bet to move over to another instance if you like that type of integration.
Edited for misinterpretation
Apathy@lemmy.worldto World News@lemmy.world•Trump to lift pause on 2,000-pound bomb supply to Israel, Walla News reportsEnglish67·6 months agoHilarious how the comments are blaming the group that wants to abstain or be central in their belief when the play was already set in place regardless of the outcome. Class war yet we bite at each other.
I made a comment about proton VPN being a L data miner and now we see the CEO bootlicking trump. Funny how that turned out
The economics of a social platform relies on growth over time and Lemmy is growing at the perfect pace because it’s not a single entity but a collaborative entity.
Once bigger federations break through to the mainstream market you’ll see the relevance of smaller federations growing along with it as it becomes a ‘bigger’ ecosystem
Mentioned in the comment section below what is necessary for community growth and it doesn’t require millions, only a few hundred active members.
Best of luck to you! Waiting with anticipation
People are not understanding that there is a hard-on for conservatives when it comes to foreigners/immigrants so they’ll spread those article even with misinformation involved because as your sources show, not much “news” about those stabbing albeit how recent they are
