Yeah, around your body temperature, it shouldn’t do anything. Its been in the upper 80s for a couple hours a day most of the days this month and I’ve been mostly keeping cool with a big box fan, but as soon as it hits 92, I’m closing down all the windows and turning the AC on.
Yeah, definitely, I hadn’t considered that, but that’s also probably not the big problem. The bigger problem is living in a place with 50+% humidity all throughout summer (which I do.) Though, it should be noted that humidity has a moderating effect on temperature, and therefore means that you’re less commonly hitting the mid 90s necessary to eliminate the primary effect.

Wouldn’t it still be semi-effective in arid environments, as the breeze will help your sweat evaporate?
