Kelly and Nighswonger is not bad business, especially the latter. Definitely better than nothing at all.
I agree it’s not bad business but definitely not a long term thing. We still have kids out on loan too and do we have any plans to integrate? Viv Lia and Michelle Aygemang are great prospects but i feel like Aygemang is always out on loan. Katie Reid needs to go out on loan too unless if she is the women’s team MLS and is that much farther ahead in development.
Reid’s already been playing, tbf, I think we’ll be fine with her staying, that’s kinda why Veen left anyway. Nighswonger is a long-term fix, at least, though we do still need a winger (which could be Kelly if she kicks back into form).

Not a massive surprise IMO. He wasn’t a terrible defender on a general level. He was just far too slow to handle English football. Italian football seems a little slower pace and more tactical. So he might be okay, at least as more of a squad player.

That’s the confusing part about the whole Watkins saga - there were rumors that we were in for him, then they sold Duran, which made it less likely. But they’ve also loaned in two players… why, if not to prepare for someone else leaving?
He could be, but it depends on his discipline.
