Anyone have a recommendation for a cross platform fediverse app to replace FB Messenger specifically? I don’t use the FB site but I do use Messenger to stay in touch with my family back home and for a group chat with my wife and kids.
Would specifically need macOS, Windows and iOS support.
Signal is available on all those platforms.
Element uses the Matrix protocol. We use and love it.
i’ve moved my communication to Signal, it’s been good so far and i haven’t heard of privacy-related incidents
