Halfway, and yet somehow this meme still seems to remain true regardless:-).
Perhaps instead of relying on the (old, now LW) mods to step aside, Ada will appoint the mods of the new letter community to be the head of the old numeric one instead, on lemmy.blahaj.zone.
Ah yes, time to totally ignore all of this and just browse All to my heart’s content, surely nothing will ever disturb the sanctity of my browsing experie - WHAT THE HELL!? :-P
To be honest, I’d largely ignored 196 before this as it seems like random nonsense, so it wasn’t too hard to carry on just doing that. It’s just I now need to ignore three communities not one but it isn’t triple the work.
Random nonsense is good way to put it, it is basically just a meme community with a greater emphasis on queer-friendliness (and zero quality standards). I personally enjoy it, but it’s certainly not for everyone. Blocking them might be a shout, just look at All.

There sooo much happening right now!
It’s a bit crazy ha ha

I wish I could’ve been this wise a few hours ago, now I’ve sunken cost myself into not being able to ignore it.
