She seems genuine? in what way? She makes my skin crawl
You have to understand that most people only know her from media reports, and since you probably weren’t tuned in to her initial rise to stardom, unless you followed that sort of Silicon Valley Tech News, the media reports you know her from were from AFTER she had been declared a monster. Up until that time, that same media had lavished adoration on her for years. They were totally complicit in her rise to fame.
Further, there are people who exude such personal charisma/charm/ aura/ whatever that they almost hypnotize those they meet. She is obviously one of those people. I’ve met few in my life, and it is a pretty remarkable experience to be in their presence. That’s where cults come from.
People walk away feeling like they just met someone important, it was a literal life-changing moment, and they want to buy into whatever this person is selling. Sometimes that thing really is that big, usually it’s just a mediocre success or failure, but more than too often, it’s a scam, like cults.
But despite that, their ability to exude charm is astonishing. In her case at least, maybe in all their cases, the authentic and the fraudulent, they’ve learned how to be that way, and they do it really, really well. If they were actors, they’d be winning Oscars, but as high-flying tech entrepreneurs, they win billion$.
Ok I need a howto for this.
when you talk to people focus on their left eye. just 100% focus on their left eye and constantly catch it when it moves. apparently this is supposed to establish a sense of empathy and connection with that person. thing is it can be quite unnerving for some people.
FWIW, only predators look another creature in the eyes…
For me its the s short pause she does before every response. It makes everything feel calculated and insincere.
Her exaggerated open mouth smile and wide open eyes combined with her slow firm speech patterns make her seem like a really bad actor testifying at a murder trial.
