From April 2026 element will only allow verificated devices to communicate.

Problem now is, due to device changes in the past (those devices dont exist anymore) i can not “verificate” my current device.

There is a warning that says:

1. verify with other device (i cant)
2. Reset everything
3. skip

i clicked that skip button for a while now…but i fear thats gona become impossible in a few days.

so i tryed the “Reset everthing” button and then it said “Error: Cannot find secrets in storage”…

I have no idea what to do now D:

I pitched element as messenger to a bunch of friends and they also running into the same problem…
