And try the second and third links in the sidebar, you’ll get different results for the two links (on a 1.4.x instance, the instance I am on, piefed.world still needs to upgrade).

For the second link (Automation Games), I am using the following markdown code:

This does not get redirected in Piefed 1.4.x+

For the third link, the link isn’t “nested”:

[Cozy Games](https://lemmy.world/c/cozygames)

Therefore the link re-direction works. i.e. On a Piefed.social account it links you to:

https://piefed.social/c/cozygames@lemmy.world

If it is possible, I think link re-direction should support both 1st level links and “nested” links.
