    Maybe they could get back to writing more stories about an object oriented universe instead of only writing about the ego oriented universe. Every single star trek franchise since enterprise is a space soap opera.

    How about focusing on quality instead. A great show is great regardless if it was 8 episodes or 20 episodes.

    Blowing smoke. Prodigy was great and it had short seasons with 20 minute episodes. Deep Space Nine was also great with long seasons and 45 minute episodes. DS9 was better, but not because of episode length.

      he’s not specifically talking about quality, more like the depth viewers get into a show. i think there’s something to that.
