It’s funny, sometimes Rice doesn’t seem like he’s an amazing player. It sometimes just seems like he’s an older brother and everyone else on the pitch is a kid. From that perspective, it makes sense why he’s so durable.
Also, it’s hard to guess whether someone is injury prone. Calafiori had some minor injuries before coming to Arsenal, but his extended absence at Arsenal was unusual. Then there’s Timber, who was basically injury free before Arsenal. Ben White had no injuries until he joined Arsenal and then… Kai Havertz had no long term injuries at Leverkusen or Chelsea, but then was out for 3 months at Arsenal.
I’m sure part of the problem was that last year Arsenal didn’t have enough players to properly rotate. I hope this season that changes.
