There is a pretty fun metroidvania called The Weird Dream that I only know about because FitGirl repacked it. They don’t seem like a threat to me.

I’ll definitely try usenet when I have the money to pay for it, niche content without jumping through private tracker hoops sounds awesome. Though I also love torrents, so it could go either way in the end.
They buried Vinnie on a hill, overlooking a little river, with pine cones all around.
Huh, that didn’t really work on my phone when Telegram tried to do it [meaning I still didn’t get notifications (fucking Huawei)].
Is it a peer-to-peer service?
I was going to write a snarky comment about how people can’t stay off of social media even for five days, but then I wondered “what is there to even spoil?”
It’s freaking Zelda, we all know the drill by now. I truly don’t know what is there to worry about.
I must say though, the community logo is very nice. Even if Lemmy doesn’t use “c/”, it uses an exclamation point.
It seems like AnimeBytes is the only one that matters, and is quite hard to get into. I think it’s better to just stick to nyaa.
I think the problem is allowing corporations to own the copyright. We should make it so that only the original creator of something can copyright it for ten years.
I never considered I2P as a source, is it good for PC games?
I use noscript, unfortunately many pirate sites are non-functional without js.
I prefer PipePipe as well, it’s great It gets frequently updated.
Private trackers are not worth it at all. Getting into main stuff is way too hard and open signups are pure luck. Even people who used top tier private trackers for over a decade now openly admit they wouldn’t bother with it if they were starting from scratch today.
I hear usenet is good for obscure stuff.
Who cares what they have if most people can’t see’em?
Last I checked BIB wanted torrent master on RED for recruitment. Nobody’s gonna bother with that for one comic volume. And nobody’s gonna risk their account inviting OP so you can forget about that too.
Why even suggest a tracker that’s basically impossible to join? BIB is super hard even by private tracker standards.
BIB is nearly impossible to get in, it’s not worth your time.
I didn’t take the MAM interview so I can’t speak on that front. All of my stuff is from OpenSignups.
What economic reality? Most of their income comes from sponsorship deals and Patreon subscriptions anyway. YouTube ad revenue is so unreliable that pretty much no content creator I follow considers it a primary way to make money. How could uploading your videos to other platforms in addition to YouTube have a negative impact on that?
