I agree that self-censoring has become way too extreme and tbh I blame the shitty corporations who punished people for going against their arbitrary terms and narratives, and bowing down to them.

Your orb idea kinda sounds like the same idea similar. I’m no UX designer but, on mobile at least, basically on a community page it could display a rounded rectangle with the background and text you want to enter. Maybe click to expand and edit. I guess maybe even two, one for community note and one for instance note.

For the search lists and other long lists, maybe just small orbs or whatever that you can click on to view your comments.

Idk like I said I’m not a UX designer and I’m sleepy haha, I trust the Voyager devs though and if they kinda see the vision I trust them. And if they think the idea is too rudimentary or bad then that’s cool too.

Perhaps I’ll return with a clearer mind, perhaps not. Ty for the advice

I think we actually agree but there might be a partial misunderstanding. There was an example another commenter made of their experience with Xcancel. I think that explains it a bit more clearly.
