I’ve seen too many of it. You can see how I rarely visit this website nowadays if you see my last activities. This is the main reason, things like this are where I put the line

im not a native speaker man, give me a break

I didn’t know Chrischurch also had earthquake in 2011…

2004 is Aceh earthquake right? The fact that the earthquake was so strong the tsunami reached another country is mind-blowing to me…

Also just remembered that this year will be 20 years since that tragedy…

two “once in a century” flood within less than a year.

that is scary… any person who says climate change isn’t real is a moron, because, i swear, it feels like every year i always something hear about the news about record breaking temperature, record breaking flood, etc.

i remember flooding in early 2020 (right before COVID hit) was the worst since 2007 in the province where i lived

Which earthquake if you dontt mind me asking?

Which election are you talking about?

Ignoring the fact that your answer is literally out-of-topic from the thread, you know that US isn’t the only country that held its election this year right? I can think of Japan, Indonesia, etc. Referring your country’s election as “The Election” like its the only election happening in the world is such a US defaultism behavior, and I hate that it happened way too often here.

Mine would be back in 2011, Tohoku Earthquake. Despite being pretty far from the epicentre, the earthquake is to this day the strongest I have felt…

I borrowed a textbook from school’s library, and one day, poof, just gone. I tried searching it multiple times in my house, but I can’t find it. To this day, I still can’t find that book, and now, it’s pretty much impossible because I moved from the house

The more recent one: I tried looking for a Japanese TV show I used to watch weekly a decade ago. It should be easy, as it’s a popular show, yet I can’t seem to find it! The only clue I have is that I remember the show actually collaborated with Detective Conan (the anime). Yet, I tried looking at each episode of Detective Conan anime and I can’t find it…

I gotta say, your comment summarizes it the best. Best of luck to Ernest

But US politics is shoved down everyone’s throats.

fuck yeah i agree!!

Dear mods. Thank you. I’m so tired of Americans act like they are the center of the world, smh

Sorry but what the fuck is that analogy

I think it’s better to be quiet on a matter you don’t understand.

The fact that middle-click is used for pasting in Linux

Remember Aaron Swartz

Just letting you know that I think about your post from time to time

VERY late reply, but thank you the words :)

I was on a depression phase 10 months ago when this was posted, but unfortunately I’m still stuck on that phase. I don’t know when I’ll be ready to get back up, but recently I’m starting to see a glimpse of hope–a light at the end of the tunnel.

I just don’t know how I’m gonna fix my big mistake in the past, I really don’t. Fuck.

Congrats on the new logo!

I’m still okay with a bit of politics discussion, but seeing US politics on timeline everyday?? I am NOT a US citizen and I DO NOT CARE about their politics at all. And the doomerism posting, so so tired of them.

That’s why I tend to follow casual community like !artshare, music related stuff, etc. I also made a community for japanese trains, though it’s my first time running a community so I’m kinda confused how to run the community.
