He actually clashed with the #Pleroma devs and some admins quite a bit while he was working on #Rebased, I forget what about.
@srasmus @Aeder A good rule of thumb is to consider muting the ten or so biggest #Pleroma instances if you don’t have the stomach to come across edgy or undesirable content while on the #Fediverse.
@srasmus @Aeder Figured I’d chime in as I’ve been on the #Fediverse for as long as #Gab joined it (as it was, interestingly enough, the first #Fediverse instance I’ve ever been on!).
The #Pleroma userbase is the most diverse that you’ll find on the #Fediverse. You’ve got crazy alt right folks, gooners, pedophiles, left wingers (usually left wing #Pleroma users will be #trans who just want to self host or be on a super small instance) and more. /1
@moviesandtv BTW I did find out that narwhal.city is running #Hitide 0.14.0 and #Lotide 0.14.3-rc.1, while lotide.fbxl.net federates just fine and is running #Hitide 0.14.0-dev and #Lotide 0.15.0-dev, it’s likely that the federation issues I’ve experienced have been resolved and the instance just needs to be updated.
