I was kind of interested in AE and now I guess I’ll give it a go.

It’s an anthology show, sure, but it used to feel a bit gritty and dirty, and now some episodes feel like the Barbie movie.
Edit: the actors also used to be lesser-known or unknown people, and now it’s a bunch of A or B-list celebrities.
This show lost its way so hard over the years. I still watch it every time, but it’s like a completely different show most of the time.
I’ve been trying to prove this for the last 3 years, but nobody will listen!
My annual Elf re-watch will be sad this year.
I’m looking for something to watch after Homicide: Life on the Street, and maybe you just convinced me it’s Columbo. Strong childhood memories of it.
Good luck getting grandma to install and use Graphene or Lineage on their 3 year old underpowered Samsung device that already works the way they know.
I think you’re making problems where there aren’t any. A device PIN or fingerprint along with Signal is probably way more secure than any family chat needs to be.
I imagine that most people’s families will find Singal easier than using a CLI program anyway. It’s rare to find an entire family without typical cellphones.
Signal is perfectly good under normal usage. Everything is unintuitive when it comes to extremes like losing your device.
I say this every time I see the book mentioned, but this is the best audiobook I’ve ever listened to. The way the second character is voiced is brilliant.
Probably the least memorable part of that whole series. It came after a really long wait, for me at least, and I was happy just to re-encounter the characters. I suspect that made it acceptable.
“Hovering in the sky over Potato World” is up there in the top ways to start a sentence.
Glad you had a great experience!
Hope you got a good view!
I just unpacked, and there’s no way I can take another day in the car! :-D
It’s my birthday tomorrow, so I’m hoping to just take it easy.
I hope it lives up to expectations!
I drove 2200 miles for this solar eclipse. I booked a place here in Dallas last year, and now it seems like it’s going to be cloudy with rain and thunder. :-/
I convinced my dad to fly over and join the road trip.
At least we got to see some incredible stuff on the way! Maybe there will be a break in the clouds…
Just so you know, you’ve got me reading Wind, Sand and Stars now. Thanks!
Oh, now I understand why the post is phrased how it is.
