Be the change you want to see in the world!
How many times do 11 people tell you they liked something you did IRL? 12 upvotes is still a lot.

I had no idea what Pokémon was in 1998, but for some reason the dude at Walmart or wherever convinced my mom to buy Pokémon Blue with my atomic purple GameBoy Color for Christmas and the rest is history.

Luckily we don’t live in a world yet where capital can make those drones without labor. Until we do they will still need the populace as a whole.

I remember when I had to leave my GameBoy in the car…

As a Native American I regret to inform you that
This was obviously not a military target and was designed to cause mass civilian casualties and death.
is entirely typical of the US government.
It’s a small CNC machine, I’m not aware of the limitations off the top of my head.
You can checkout time on the printer and they have a person on staff who will do it for you if you don’t know how.
They also have workshops where you can come and learn how to use the machines and software.
Several of the branches around here also have fairly robust media libraries as well, with CDs, DVDs, Blu-ray’s, etc. and you can checkout ebooks from their website.

The Usenet user count has never been higher than it currently is, and it very much is social media. What changed is that AT&T and others stopped including Usenet access as part of your Internet plan several years ago so it got a little harder to get to but not impossible.
I haven’t used a library computer in a very long time
Perhaps you should, my local library has a 3-D printer and a milling machine… Libraries have changed.

Social media is older than likes and views. Usenet for instance is older than the Web.
Most people’s local libraries have printers and usually access to software like that, if not there there’s always Kinkos.

sudo apt full-upgrade -U -y
Should be all you need.

I honestly don’t know what you’re trying to say here. There really isn’t other degrees in software, MIS for instance is a degree in IT. My degree is in computer science with a minor in math.

Where?!? We recently moved to the largest city in my state and I still haven’t had any better luck. I’ve applied to over 150 jobs and had two interviews 14 months apart… I had a recruiter tell me that they’ve only had a couple jobs go by their desk in the last few months, and each of them was for a very very specific software stack. And the worst part is that the amount of spam calls that I get tell me that half of these jobs have just been honey pots.

Not that it matters, I’ve been a developer for 15 years and unemployed for the last 18 months. There are no jobs right now, and it doesn’t seem like there’s going to be any anytime soon.

It would be a lot less annoying if they weren’t constantly stifling discussion around it to the point that I’ve literally never even seen a single person defend the position and instead just say the line that you just said like it’s all the defense they need and then ban people.
Not sure if autocorrect or boneappletea but *Overton Window.
These are cops were talking about, some of the most controlling people on the planet. I think it’s entirely plausible they were stalking/tracking people they were actively dating. I’m also going to guess that this isn’t just something they’ve started doing since they got access to this technology.
