Wow so I read your link, and I don’t see anywhere that it explicitly says it was caused by the massage gun, just that it occurred after use of one, and that it may have be the cause or at least contributed to it. Strenuous exercise seems to be a common cause, and since the reported case was someone training with a coach, strenuous exercise doesn’t seem that far fetched. But you are correct that the OP article explicitly claims the massage gun caused the rhabdomyolysis.

The first time I ever gambled, I put $20 into a slot machine, a few minutes later I was up to $60, and another few minutes down to $0. So, I don’t know if you’d consider that losing $20 or $60, but that’s the most I ever lost in a day.

I’ve come to the conclusion that speech to text has played a significant role in the disappearance of commas. When things are written via speech to text, it almost never had any commas unless they say “comma”, and almost no one ever does. From there, I guess people just get used to not seeing commas, and even when they’re typing, commas don’t cross their mind.

It’s a pretty big pet peeve of mine, and I find it super frustrating to text with people who frequently used speech to text.

To anyone born too early to get the vaccine in the past, talk to your doctor! I was diagnosed with cervical cancer last year, and my doctor says the cutoffs have changed, so even with my diagnosis, it’s still worth getting.

18 months here. Initially, I figured I’d enjoy a few months off thanks to severance + unemployment, but then, when it was about time to get serious about finding work again, I was diagnosed with cancer. I’m in remission now, but my savings is completely gone and I’m borrowing money from family. A tent is definitely growing more appealing.

Yeah, that (lack of) friction makes a huge difference though, and is the only reason I wish I had a thigh gap. I do find that the more athletic/activewear fabrics tend to hold up longer, while the “buttery”/loungewear fabrics wear out faster.

Not always true. I bought a condo in 2021 since that was all I could afford within commuting distance from work. My condo has actually lost value in that time, while SFHs in the area have become even more expensive. I hate my HOA, but now I’m basically trapped here, hoping the market turns around soon so I can sell without taking a major loss. I’m ready to go back to renting.

Not that I can remember, but once, I was working as a server in a restaurant, and I guess one of the guests that got sat in my section had stared in a TV series that I was only vaguely aware of, but my coworkers loved. Garlic salt?? In regular (not low sodium) cottage cheese?? One of the things I like to add to cottage cheese is everything bagel seasoning, but I have to make my own seasoning blend without salt since cottage cheese is already quite salty.

Omg, 19g would be insane for any kitten! They’re usually somewhere near 100g at birth, although the smallest I’ve personally seen was 53g.
