To be clear, it seems you object to the concept of sequels and movie serieses (how do you pluralize “series”?) more than compilations?

I still like it. Rewatched it a year or two ago, annd found that it holds up. I actually and truly like it, for its merits, and not ironically. It’s not the horrible B movie it’s made out to be, it has heart.
