they look fine to me :P
A lot of people are avoiding lemmy.ml and donating to the lemmy project because of the devs political views (tankies).
The donations dropped to critical levels recently, meaning that they would need more donations to keep the project going without getting a job. They appealed in a lot of places for more donations.
genuinely, whats up with not being able to use spaces?
You never store passwords. They should be hashed and salted.
so secure, no one can get in, even her!
friendica does this.
Assuming a breach, and hashes are released, its significantly harder to bruteforce a long password.
Some (a lot) poorly set up websites may not even have a limit on password attempts, or cooldowns.
You can link to comms like so:
I sometimes forget tbh.
Comms is a pretty good word imo.
All we need are hex codes and rgb!
Reddit isn’t fun (anymore).
Id say he meant he was told to get out by them, but it wasn’t legally binding.
Kagi’s lens are the equivalent of custom feeds for searching (i think, I haven’t used kagi).
But yeah, ddg bangs basically just jump you to a search page on a website.
I try to ask questions here instead of reddit in the hopes that lemmy will pop up in google for someone.
I’d say having those groups isn’t bad in itself, but they should crosspost posts to and from the small groups.
Kagi (paid search engine, haven’t tried it myself) has a fediverse forums (lemmy, piefed, mbin) lens.
Nice! I do think ublock filters would work better, but this is still cool.
Seems to be drm like widevine. That’s tricky, but not impossible to extract.
