Yeah, I’m gonna need the name of the brand, because I have a few vegetarian friends and when I do cookouts, they bring their beyond burgers and other plant-based substitutes, and every single one was cooked almost exactly like a burger.

I had a little trial and error with a few patties, since they’re not totally a 1:1 analog, but have had nothing but compliments for the last few picnics.

I definitely ruined the first two as I figured out ways to cook on my griddle top…

I make sure to clean the surface of the griddle of old residue and turn the heat to max for a bit to minimize exposure to any leftover animal fats from previous uses, and toss down the patties for the vegan, then once those are done I put a little butter on the griddle for the vegetarian patties.

The butter helps keep the patties from sticking to my griddle, but is obviously not vegan. The vegan patties I just have to keep paying attention to so nothing chars to the griddle top.

Note: I have not cooked these on a flame grill but it’s supposed to be similar to cooking a regular burger still.

I’m not artistic enough, but if it doesn’t exist yet I’d love to see these alternate names with the original company logos style.

I really think avatar should have done a little more to show life for non benders.

We get a little bit here and there, but never really see “normal people who have to be on their toes around benders” kind of life outside of the single western lone-wanderer episode where Zuko left Iroh and was helped by an earth kingdom family, who then all turn on him when they find out he’s a fire bender for sure, claiming to be prince of the fire nation.

Damn that is a good episode…

But Imagine being a normal person going about your life when BAM half your house is gone because a teenager still wrangling with his abilities accidentally shot a boulder (not THE Boulder) through your front wall. Are the cops gonna do anything about it? Or are they gonna shrug and tell you they don’t have any benders on their payroll so nobody wants to risk getting sunk through the floor.

I tend to recognize usernames I see at least once a day, if they’re phrases or words. Not if they’re like strings of random characters…

Discovery should have been set in the future of the series. Then not only would the RIDICULOUSLY HUGE AMOUNT OF EMPTY SPACE in the ship would make more sense, the advanced tech would make more sense, and most importantly, they wouldn’t need to retcon ANYTHING.

They just wanted to be able to use certain characters and wanted to be set before almost anything else. So they did the dumb thing and placed the advanced future ship in the past.

From my understanding, these two don’t really get along (spouse watches Wednesday) but eventually learn to at least get along if not become besties.

I don’t like the idea of shows not getting along. Even if this is more or less how Sisko’s meeting with Picard went in ep1…

The shows are all best friends (especially the conflicting ones) it’s only some of the fans that suck with their “mine is better than yours” nah muthafuckas, all our shows are fantastic. Even if some made some questionable theme decisions , at least they all had faith of the heart.
