If there’s a problem that can’t be solved with self-sealing stem bolts, I’ve not found it.

I’m going to corner the market when the post war private jet price crash happens. What do we think we’ll be using for money then? Salt?

Like others, I have a 2 tier system.
About 2TB of my (Synology) NAS is critical files. Those get sent via Hyperbackup to cloud storage on at least a weekly basis, some daily. I have them broken up into multiple tasks with staggered schedules so it never has much to do on any given day.
The other 16TB I have get sync’d (again with hyperbackup, but not a scheduled backup task) to a 20TB external drive roughly once per quarter. Then that drive lives on the closet of a family member.

I was thinking Ubuntu is the one who follows people around and steps on the heels of their shoes while they walk, but has loads of “friends” because they have money.

Looks like Huntarr’s presence on Github is suddenly gone and their sub went private.

I don’t see an ad in there
Every result is for the same scammy looking site.

Fun idea: Let’s put someone in command of a ship that takes them to edge of reality. Let them experience the horrors of war, constant life and death situations, alternate lifetimes, temporal incursions, alien grudges, and occasionally get turned into a salamander. If they survive, lets ignore all that psychological damage and put them in charge of large swaths of space.

If your work laptop is a pain for those last Wine resistant apps: I recently started using (and liking) WinBoat for running Fusion 360, the 1 piece of software I can’t get running in Wine and can’t manage to switch off of. It makes it really easy to maintain a windows VM and then use RemoteApp to launch individual pieces of software from it as if they were running natively.
Back before I switched to linux it was how I (as a then Windows 2k user) looked at any version of Windows w/o the NT kernel. Now its how I look at people who still use Reddit.
Maybe I just like to look at people that way.

I know everyone was shipping these 2 from the first episode, but I like them best as classic Trek BFFs.

I haven’t been to a Disney park since the early 90s, and everything I hear about the experience now sounds like hell.

It’s a true joy to work with this entire team, most especially the handsome, erudite, and monstrously talented Ted Danson, a true American treasure whose contract stipulates exactly what adjectives I am allowed to use while describing him in press releases.

Nestle’s long history of sacrificing infants for profits continues strong.
When the game 7th Guest came out (though I’m sure there were others) it was on a mixed CD, part soundrack audio and part game data. But if you had an older CD playing stereo that didn’t block track zero, you could listen to the data. It was early EDM for the crowd that listened to modem handshakes for fun.
