Dr. Collier is a theoretical physicist who covers a wide arc a physics topics, and who did a pretty impressive review of Picard.

Very indepth and well researched videos about science and tech scandals and controversies

Dr Becky

Is an Oxford Astrophysicist who covers a lot of findings about JWT and will point out upcoming things in the night sky

Most of the time I wish the nutrients would just enter my system without me ever having to think or do anything about it. So I get as close to that as possible.

I use the phrase “wide-awake nightmare” kind of a lot.

At least I know where I picked it up from, the Screaming Skull episode of MST3k.

I occasionally hear “catty-corner” too.

Level 2 EVSEs (the charger is actually in the car) have a wide cross-section of power delivery. Portable units are usually limited to ~20 amps and will do this level of charge. Installed units with a sufficient circuit can charge at a rate 40 - 60 miles / hour. They are also considerably more expensive and should be installed by an electrician (adding more cost).

For the record, Level 1 EVSE’s (that plug into a US 110v outlet) only do 3 - 5 miles/hour. Important to know for US renters who might not be able to get a 220v circuit to their parking spot.

I’m a lemmonaut

I grew up in the 80s and 90s and was a “Latchkey Kid” so sometimes I feel like my childhood first got the breaks applied when I started having to carry a set of house keys with me all the time.

As someone who’s also needing to replace a 2007 Toyota soon, I am also curious about this. Cars built after about 2015 seem like nightmares of cost cutting (especially in their lack of physical controls) and surveillance.

I’m going to forgo accusing you of being a “dipshit with a nine-toed woman” until we get to know each other better.

If you shop around you can find a Brother (B&W) laser printer for about $100.

Imagine this weird future: Printers that always just work no matter what type of computer you have or how long they’ve sat since you last used them. And the “ink” cartridges last forever. And you can buy 3rd party refills or even refill them yourself. Plus it’s completely reliant on microplastics to do its job, what’s more futuristic than that?

Ha. I may have to incorporate those. Putting one on the tip of my nose would probably be overkill, but I’m tempted.

If I’m fully awake I only give up when I’ve got less than 90 minutes left before I get up. That is long enough for a full rem cycle.

If not, then I am thankful for the flexibility I have at work. I can usually go to work early and subsequently leave early too.
