    If only we’d not conceded a goal. “Seven nil to the Arsenal!” would sound fantastic.

    That then reminds me of one of the times I went to Highbury many years ago. We were thrashing Ipswich 5-0. All the North Bank was singing “five nil to the Arsenal!” Good stuff! Then they scored a consolation goal. A group of lads a bit further along started singing “five one to the Arsenal!”, and everyone else (myself included) started grumbling about his that doesn’t rhyme. Haha.
