Just watched the replay of the NLD.

• Lewis-Skelly was so ready for this. The lad did great. We have a top quality leftback in the making. (Aside from that weird foul throw he did.)
• Big Gabi with yet another monster performance. That guy is so strong it’s ridiculous.
• The fans in attendance made the place a proper fortress.
• Yes we got a bit lucky with our first goal (given that it shouldn’t have been a corner). But fuck it, that’s how it works sometimes. And heaven knows we’re owed a bit of luck.
• Great finish by Leo for our second goal. But even more than that, I fucking love that he hushed all the lairy spud fans. Sweet revenge for Son’s shit on their goal.
• Holy shit was their keeper dodgy. I know he was like their 4th backup or something, but that lad was born about 40 years too late with the poor calibre of his footwork.
• Sterling… shit, we really need a better backup for Saka! I’d have much rather seen Fast Gabi on the right from the start.
• Great to see Rice back in form again.
• Another Jekyll-and-Hyde performance from Partey. Really hoping the rumours of Zubimendi’s summer arrival are true.
• Richarleson is still a massive shithead. I guess he has to have some sort of talent because he was shite in this match.
• And lastly… North London is still red!!
