Emi Martinez is heading to Chelsea. Temperament-wise it’s a perfect match. Martinez is a bit of a jerk. Chelsea is a jerk club.
I do wonder what would’ve happened if we went with him instead of Leno.
But yeah. I mean, hard to be worse than Sanchez, so he’ll be fine probably. Though it would be extremely funny if that transfer didn’t work out for either party.

I really hope we get a result against Real Madrid. One of the kids I coach is a Real fan and keeps telling me they are better than us. Well, he hasn’t said that since I pointed out that a) we won the best league in the world while his team didn’t win their league, b) we only lost the CL final on penalties and his team didn’t even make it to the CL semis. But still, I don’t want that debate to open up again soon.
I still can’t get over that CL loss. That corner we were denied just before halftime still eats at me.

Like obviously they can’t play in their own stadium or their Lviv one or even in Ukraine in general but surely there’s a stadium closer to Ukraine they could’ve used lol
I’m going to assume it’s the UK governments attempt to stick it to Russia and show support for Ukraine. But yeah, that’s a hell of a commute.
I mean, I’m all for it, and some rare props to Chelsea for it. But yeah, I just don’t understand why they aren’t playing in like, Germany or Poland lol.
