    Been missing Santi Cazorla lately. Wonder if we’ll ever have another cult hero quite like him.

        I think he’s gonna be a bit more than a cult hero. At least I hope so. I think part of what made Santi so special to us was that while his peaks were high they were also not as long as they should have been.

    At last it’s time to unpin the Champions post now that we’re into the new season proper. Already a new trophy tho lol

      One reason that the Community Shield used to feel like a friendly is that you got 5 subs in that game, and only 3 in a normal competitive one. But, now that the regular competitive games allow 5 subs, it seems to me like it felt more like a real game, and also more like a real trophy.

      I guess the other part is that when Arsenal previously played in the Community Shield it was mostly (since 2004) because Arsenal won the FA cup. Often the club didn’t finish near 2nd place. So, it didn’t seem to be a real “battle of the best in the league”, more like a fun event with the league champions against another club from the league.

      So, basically, now that we won it, the Community Shield is a real trophy.

    Hope City go for Enzo Fernandez instead of Bouaddi. As I bet he would cause enough trouble there as well.

    If Chelsea put 100 million on Pedro Neto, then Martinelli has to go for twice that.

    Wonder how Rodri really feels about going to Barcelona, instead of Real.
