    Now that you pointed it out, this annoys me more than people who put the currency sign after the amount.

      To me putting it first feels funny. Euro 100, instead of 100 euros. While writing it you need to remember to put the symbol before writing the amount. Funny thing

      I dont know why that annoys me. It does annoy me but it shouldn’t because at least it has a logic to it.

      £2 Is spoken “two pounds” not “pound two”

      Listen do you say Dollars 300 ($300) or do you say 300 Dollars (300$)?

        I’ll give you my 2¢ on this: I like the dollar sign before the number. When I say “3 dollars” I see it as “$3” not “3$” and I don’t see it as “dollars 3” unless I’m telling a riddle.

        Just like with American date structure: I’ll say July 26, 2026 and will see it as 07/26/2026.

        (But when I put a date in files I go for YYYY/MM/DD format)

        (Whoever created these systems had a funny sense of synergy lol)
