What happened to the Supergirl movie? I never read or was a fan of her comics but why did Superman blow it out of the water? And Supergirl did very poorly at the box office? Please hide spoilers.

I saw it and gave up about halfway through.

Never saw Portman looking so lifeless, and the action sequences were just mechanical.
