minus-squaredevfuuu@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up29·edit-21 month agoYou can just not update for weeks or months if that’s your thing. If there’s a thing arch doesn’t do is force things.

minus-square0x0@infosec.publinkfedilinkarrow-up10·1 month agoSure ok, so back to you being “forced”, how?
minus-squarelagoon8622@sh.itjust.workslinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up7·1 month agoWhat the actual heck are you talking about lol. Arch is quite minimal out of the box. Of course it’s your system, you can install whatever you want
minus-squarerealitaetsverlust@piefed.ziplinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up5·1 month agoWhat are you even talking about? There’s no such thing as “forced OS updates” on arch.
minus-squareRustyNova@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up1·1 month agoOk this is indeed solved by nix. Not the bloat mind you. Nixos is the king of redundancy bloat (unless you use Btrfs and something like bees)
