I currently use FluffyChat, but since it the notifications for my second account are not working I wanted to try out other clients as well.

    I used to use Element for Android but it would always screw up the encryption keys in group chats, so I went to SchildiChat and it’s been fantastic.

      It seems like it does not handles the unread counter that well… Also the two spaces I am in do not list the rooms that belong to them, but instead just show as empty…

      I use conduit as my homeserver, maybe the combo doesn’t work that well?..

    I strongly recommend commet, it has a really nice ui that’s discord like and has most of the features implemented and has notifications either with google play services or unified push. https://commet.chat/, you can download the apk from there

      Thanks for the recommendation. I just tried it and it is not my cup of tea (I also do not like the discord app)

      What did strike me as very odd is that it does not seem to support the verification from another device. Or at least it did not prompt me with it and I couldn’t find it in the settings.
