If anyone is interested, Arsenal Women’s Australians are two games into the Women’s Asian Cup. 1-0 vs Philippines and 4-0 vs Iran, last night.
Foord has played the most minutes and has played well (2 assists), playing on the left and right in attack. Catley deployed at LB and CB, putting in good performances, too. Cooney-Cross was unused last night but wasn’t named for the first match.
The sternest test is on Sunday vs South Korea, which will determine who tops the group. I would think that all three AWFC players will be involved.
