It’s hard to cheer for any side of this conflict. For regular people in Venezuela things might get better because US colonies aren’t typically sanctioned. Gas might get cheaper worldwide which works for me as it makes Russian oil export ever so closer to being unprofitable. So, broadly gray area for me.
I don’t think Trump will be held accountable, same as many other presidents before him. Hague Invasion Act has been passed over 20 years ago now too. It has always been about who is the biggest bully around, nothing changed except theatre around it.
What does a govt being well liked have to do with framing of the kidnapping of the leader of a country as anything but completely unacceptable.
Next time Trump travels anywhere can he be expected to be pulled into a war crimes tribunal against his will?
