Agree on most points here. At least where I am at, there is still one theater kind of like this. $6 movies and reasonable priced snacks/beers. Only problem is the building is literally falling apart.
It was raining hard one day we went there and I made my way to the bathroom. There was water seeping in from the emergency exit and pooling all over. I kept thinking “they’re going to have to rip this carpet up or it’s going to mold”. That’s the vibe of the place

I love a good run down building, sounds perfect as long as they can repair just enough to keep running.
