Based on the trailer it seems like they’re setting up Noah Wyle’s character to leave. I wonder if we’re going to get a similar story to ER where his character goes to Africa. It feels a little on the nose, but it could make for an interesting in-between season miniseries, assuming the show plans to continue to a season 3.
