The Wife’s a big trekkie so I’m thinking of getting her the new Enterprise NCC 1701 D (#10356).

My wife loves 80s movies, so I plan on getting the Gizmo (21361) and the Back to the Future (10300) sets for her. I’m hoping some sales will hit after Thanksgiving.

I love the delorean model. Unfortunately building it makes you want to have bought 3 sets. You have to choose 2/3 of the way through the build which movie’s car you want to build, and it’s not easy to just swap between them once you finish.

That big frickin Christmas tree looks so fun. It looks like a build together project, and I kind of want to get it so my spouse and I can glory in not having to share it with kids we don’t have and just do fucking Lego all day on Christmas.

    The Tudor House.

But more than any set I wish LEGO would wake up. They are currently loosing on all three battlefields: price, quality, and creativity. And now they plan to alienating their fandom.

My wife is not into Legos, but I got her Lego Orchid (10311). It doesn’t look that hard to assemble and it looks pretty. I hope she would like it.

So my mom’s in her 70s and prioritized buying us Lego growing up, but I’ve never seen her actually build any. I think this is the year I’ll change that by getting her the Beautiful Horse Creator set for Xmas. It should be fun to hear what she thinks about building it.
