Amadeus’ main plot is about a rivalry that never happened. That’s like saying Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure is a biopic on all those historical people they meet. It’s pure fiction. Biopics are not pure fiction, even if nearly all of them fictionalize at least a few things.

Well all true stories are based on actually events which means they are complete works for fiction.
