For music I use Soulseek (Nicotine+) or rutracker. They offer Flac with high bitrate but also mp3. No need to use irc or deemix

Get a free trial to Deezer. Install deemix. Use deemix to rip all of the lossless music you want. Cancel trial. Repeat as needed.
This is the way. You can also find ARLs floating around online to log into your deemix with that’ll give you premium features like FLAC quality downloads.
Where is the latest version of Deemix located nowadays?
@Reocken @borat @GlitzyArmrest as far as i know, deemix is not hosted anywhere, as I think they got taken down or the domain expired or something? i have an old version i can throw online if you want it though
