I wish some bugs would go extinct, bed bugs, mosquitos, ticks, maybe yellow jackets. Seems like those populations are strong than ever.

I feel like at this point, many of those are basically English words now. Like Déjà vu.

Every time an election comes up though, everyone is like “we need to vote for the democrats because third party/not voting is ‘a vote for the republicans’” and sadly I have to admit due to how first past the post elections work they do have a point. So any individual voting for anything other than a democrat (or not voting) makes it less likely the democrats win and more likely republicans win, and they’re by far the worse option (and still pro Israel).
Maybe Israel’s propaganda is to dissuade people from voting for anti-Israel politicians in the primaries and the like, rather than directly make them look good.

Is this budget for convincing the general public to support them, or convincing US politicians? Because if it’s the former I don’t see it working or anyone believing the lies. Bloomberg tried something similar to get into the democratic primary and I’m pretty sure he failed spectacularly.
But I’d bet it’s the latter, and I let buying US politicians will continue to be successful. Because if both republicans and democrats support Israel, even if the public hates them who else is there to vote for?
Straight cycling routes with gentle curves and low grades and few intersections are great, what are you talking about? So much better than bike paths crammed next to a road or river with random twists and turns to get around car infrastructure, or worse, winding and convoluted neighborhood routes with lots of stop signs that make it take forever to get anywhere. If a trail goes from nowhere to nowhere, it would probably not have gotten frequent rail service anyway and is still useful to some people as a bike path.
I suppose it helps I’m on a fast ebike though and want to make my 11 mile commute in a reasonable amount of time.
I feel like many people oppose rails to trails because then there’s much less of a chance it will become rails again, so you have to let go of the hope of any sort of trains coming back. Though becoming a trail is certainly a lot better than the track land being split up and sold off to developers, since then there’s no chance.

I don’t like my roommates enough to even hang out let alone cuddle, but in August that will change and I’ll have roommates I do want to cuddle with.

I have a TV in my bedroom set up specifically for in case I have a friend over and we want to cuddle on the bed and watch stuff. It’s hooked up to my computer for ad-free YouTube but is separate from my regular computer monitor.
My roommates do have a living room TV but I feel weird about cuddling in front of them.

I do feel like the S bends are a bit tight, seems like it would make it hard to keep a consistent speed if you have to slow down for every intersection. Specifically thinking of e-cargo trikes and trailers that can’t lean into corners like a regular bike can, and take longer to get up to speed.
Uh, everybody? Mae’s the calendar so much neater seeing it bookended with weekend days on both sides.

Speeds over 2x were never a free feature, they just used to not be an option at all.
What’s that supposed to mean?
Yeah, it’s happened multiple times that a website has reached critical mass such that normal people start joining and posting a variety of interests, rather than just non-stop posting about their super duper hardened non-fingerprintable self hosted LibreWolf instance with VPN to prevent those dirty big tech companies from stealing their precious browsing history data. No one will ever know how much they prefer AMD cards over NVIDIA and that they use Arch BTW! And general news and politics (Capitalism Bad™).
That was over 30 years ago, longer than I’ve been alive. I just want niche communities to subscribe to (Cities: Skylines, model trains, Madison WI) instead of the constant barrage of generic politics, Linux obsession, and low effort memes.

Aren’t those the same thing? Liberals are to the left.

Isn’t everyone on this site a liberal though? I don’t think I’ve seen a single conservative on here.

To be fair, genital mutilation is probably the least of America’s worries at this point, they should see about fixing their monthly school shooting “surprises” first.
Within regions, cars usually beat trains, and many people are going to locations in the suburbs where bus access is slow/inconvenient and cars get you straight there with little hassle.
