5·4 months agoHardest part is going to be transforming any presidential candidate into claymation. I suspect if we collectively put our heads together we can figure it out.

Showerthoughts@lemmy.world•Most Americans should probably try to work for ICE
5·4 months agoHonestly, the pay is crap. I looked the other day to see how much it pay the new Icetapo was offering and its starting at GS-5 rates…about $45-65k.
I couldn’t afford my bills and beat up my fellow Americans at those rates.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What's your advice for someone driving their first manual transmission car?
3·5 months agoTo add on, if your left ankle is on the ground when working the clutch you’ll have trouble controlling it.
Like scytale says, use your whole foot so the action is at the knee. This means lifting your ankle up off the floor.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Which animals, besides cats or dogs, would you give a ride to or intentionally let in your home with barely a second thought?
8·7 months agoHad a neighbor’s mini donkey escape last year and found it grazing outside our fence line. She lived in our front yard for several days while we searched for her owner. She was a Super chill animal who liked to stand inside a dog kennel we had setup.

I recently read an article by Bruce Levine who suggests that neurodivergent people are inherently anti-authoritian and the “Normie’s” basically persecute and medicate us to maintain their version of order (I’m taking great liberty with my summary).
Its a concept that really piqued my interest as I grew up in the height of the ADD/ADHD diagnosis period and discovered through experience that almost everyone around me who were also labeled as having “learning difficulties” also shared my same sentiments on politics and the world in general. I think its the reason I related so well to Punk Rock music and never understood why anyone would listen to mainstream music.
Anyway, here is that article I was reading. Pretty sure I stumbled on it through Lemmy:
Once every blue moon I’ll use the right shift to Ctrl+Shift+m and unmute a Teams call but thats the only time I can think I’ve used it.

If you’re looking for greater accuracy we can always convert that to badgers with a simple formula.
