Waiting for new seasons is annoying. But what’s making me angry is writers pitching an idea, getting green-lit, and then we learn they don’t have any plan.

I would suspect every writer starts with an idea that includes a beginning and an end. Not so much for television writers. See the current documentary about season 5 of “Stranger Things.” They went into filming of the final episode without a finished script. They really didn’t know how the show would end.

“Lost” was similar. They had an idea and then piled on one mystery after another without a real plan. They even changed what they worked on when fan theories hit too near.

I can see my upvotes on Mlem. So it’s definitely there. And fast.

It is on Netflix (Germany), and so I already paid for it. Had to give up after 6 minutes.

Mastodon itself uses the Web Share API to share its posts. But this is only practical for mobile because most users don’t have all the apps installed on the desktop. IMHO.

This frightens me. This sounds like they don’t have a plan. He said the show will have 4 seasons, but after the first one, they don’t want to rush the story?

What is going on?

I didn’t feel like this is the kind of show that would work well without a plan. Writers think writing science fiction gives them so many options that they don’t need to know where this is heading in the next few years. I hate that.

Yes, it gets used for emails, too. Server admins would need to change their email texts. That’s bad. But at this time the number of instances with PieFed is still below 1,000.
