You mean Interrail? It’s not a monthly pass, but you will probably find a pass that suits your trip.

I speak French and German on a daily basis and German speaking people tend to use the du (or sometimes Du) more often than French speaking people. For both languages though, people tend to go more often with the informal forms in the rural areas and more with the formal form in the cities. This is for Switzerland and people in Germany or France may have slightly different habits.

Seen the movie yet? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Chorus_(2004_film) The original song will maybe not make you dance as much as the remix but it is still a nice movie.

If you saw it in an ad, it’s probably better not to use it.

If you happen to forget your headphones, you can borrow a cheap one from anyone, everyone has a few cheap ones at home they don’t care about. If this is not possible, you can buy very cheap ones in almost any shop. This saved me a few times from boring hour long train rides. I have a Sony BTW, so I have a small phone, 4 days battery life, a headphone jack, a SD card slot, no screen camera notch and front facing speakers. Unfortunately no one wants those feature so Sony mobile is dying.
I use Super Key + A and S instead of the arrow keys to be able to do it with one hand.

Yes, they could brick it. But then you can open a warranty case when you are back in the EU.

I was not doing any comparison, sorry of this sounded like it.

It’s not like workers having to do 2 or 3 jobs in the US just to allow their family to survive are really “free workers”. At least slaves in China seem to benefit the country. In the US, the slaves just benefit big corporations and their shareholders.

Do you really have no hobby? What do you do in your free time?
I’m more with the opposite view: Advertising, which is manipulating people into buying your product, IS inherently a bad thing. Although some cases may be legitimate.

Because it hurts less when you hit your foot against it when going to the toilet during the night

This sounds great. I would definitely love a splitwise alternative in particular!
You may want to think about using another name for your app suite though. Since it may bring confusion with the simple mobile tools (https://simplemobiletools.com/index.html) which for example also have a “Simple Notes” app.
Are you maybe using Windows? I’ve heard it can be slow sometimes, even on modern hardware.
I’d recommend a longer full time week. If the full time week is too short, many people well rely on overtime for their salary. This completely destroys the benefits of some of your other points, since you can’t do overtime during vacations, parental leave, sick leave, etc. Overtime should not be the norm if you want a good social/financial security.
Edit: part time job should of course always be possible if your revenue allows you to work shorter weeks

Phone screen pixel density actually went down in the last 10 years due to bigger screens.

It may become complicated if some day she does fall in love and if it’s with someone else. She may be faced with hard choices if this happens.

I haven’t had any device that wasn’t recognized by Linux in 15 years. Do you have examples of hardware that “normal people” use and does not work?
I’m OK with it as long as it’s not an LLM recommendation
